Diamond Construction, recently completed two (2) new cottages to serve Intermountain Children’s Home local to Helena, MT. The project was combined public funding including funds from CDBG. Each building totaled 5,300 sqft for a total of 10,600 sqft accomplished concurrently.

The project consisted of leveling out a 2-acre sloped site which involved site utilities along with ash and boulder challenges. Building construction consisted of two residential treatment buildings each 5300sf. Each building consisted of 9 bedrooms, common residential areas with kitchen, living, dining and laundry, as well as administrative and treatment spaces. Exterior of the buildings consisted of both asphalt shingles and standing seam metal roofing with the siding being a combination of both fiber cement lap and board & batt accented with brick veneer. Interior common areas were multi colored bright and open with 14’ high vaulted ceilings. Luxury vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, carpet tile, polished concrete along with a soft fiber stretch in carpet over pad. Custom made casework and window treatments complimented the finishing touches.
